Decoding IR codes with IR sensor rather than IR receiver module
I'm looking for a library to decode RAW IR signals from an IR sensor (looks like a black LED, two legged) rather than an IR module (3 legged, rated for a particular frequency - such as 38kHz). … My previous IR detector was an IR module and not an IR sensor. The difference could be seen here …

A/C doesn't detect IR codes sent from Arduino
I have an IR receiver and an IR LED I got from a kit (I don't have the datasheets for them).
I uploaded an Arduino sketch to record my A/Cs IR codes. Those were NEC encoded 32bit integers. … A few possibilities I had in mind:
IR frequency. Could it be that the detection circuit worked with the default settings but transmitting wouldn't?
IR wavelength. …
