Board: ESP32 Development Board

I am trying to get the adafruit soundboard code to work on my ESP32. I have installed espSoftwareSerial but I keep getting errors with their sample code.

I receive

  • I bet the Adafruit Soundboard code is not for an ESP32. But you don’t have to use SoftwareSerial on an ESP32! It has plenty of “real” (hardware) serial ports. Use Serial1 or Serial2 instead. For some simple example code see here. You would also have to change the RST pin into a pin that is actually available on the ESP32 (GPIO4 isn’t).
