I'm not asking that how does an Arduino send the data to the OLED screen, but how does the module control the actual screen that displays the image ? I couldn't find any IC on the module, just a few capacitors and resistors on the back. The chip that "understands" the signals sent by the Arduino and controls the pixels is under or in the screen, or where is it ? Yes, I've looked up on Google, but I couldn't find any answer. enter image description here enter image description here

  • not an arduino question ... it is off topic here – jsotola Mar 18 at 18:17
  • Have you looked under the display itself? – chrisl Mar 18 at 18:26
  • Yes, I have looked under the display. – drmarton11 Mar 18 at 18:27

It's called Chip On Glass. The chip is built into the actual display on the glass itself where the ribbon cable connects. Under that bit of black tape. – Majenko Mar 18 at 18:59
