I have been working with the ESP8266httpUpdate library for a while now, I want to change the frequency of the blinking built-in led of the esp8266, I couldn't figure out how this library is commanding the led though, only private variables and a function to assign them to a local one, also, I intend to integrate the same functionality in another library so I need to know how it works, thanks!

library: ESP8266httpupdate

library function:

void setLedPin(int ledPin = -1, uint8_t ledOn = HIGH)
{
    _ledPin = ledPin;
    _ledOn = ledOn;
}

using the private variables _ledPin and _ledOn

  • Add a link to the library and post/mention the parts to save time for people looking into your problem. Like which private variables, which function. – Michel Keijzers Jun 24 at 12:25
