I have an arduino nano clone with Chip CH340G I installed the latest version of the firmware, it's OK I loaded the blink exemple and tried to flash the arduino nano Here are my options config

I connect the nano to the computer with USB only and the flash fail with this error message:

  • Try setting it to the new bootloader in the menu. – Majenko May 6 '20 at 23:24
  • I tried with 3 available bootloaders and also tried with selecting arduino uno card but always the same result ;( – vib May 7 '20 at 4:51

  • I checked the board, the chip is a 168 I tried to burn bootloader with ISP: avrdude: Expected signature for ATmega168 is 1E 94 06 When I try to upload sketch normaly with chip 168 selected, same error. If I select 368 new or old bootloader, I have the error in my first message. What a shit – vib May 7 '20 at 6:34
  • That's cheap Chinese clones for you. You get what you pay for. They're fine if you know how to handle them as bare microcontrollers, but a pain to get going if you're an Arduino novice. – Majenko May 7 '20 at 9:53
