I have read in the uIP manual that only one interface can be managed by the uip stack:
"The uIP implementation is designed to have only the absolute minimal set of features needed for a full TCP/IP stack. It can only handle a single network interface and contains the IP, ICMP, UDP and TCP protocols. uIP is written in the C programming language".
since i want to build an ethernet (simple static) router in arduino, I am confused by this reading whether it is possible at all!

It's cheaper, more satisfying and easier to buy a ready made switch/router. You'll only get 10Mbps with ENC28J60 ethernet devices. – Dougie Dec 23 '19 at 10:37

@Dougie It is for educational purposes! – sapienswatson Dec 23 '19 at 10:40

UIP is not mandatory for enc28j60. you can use LWIP to implement a 'router" – Juraj Dec 23 '19 at 12:03
