Guys i have been tring to make the finger sensor for my inmoov arm but i have recently run into a speed bump. So i am quite a newbie at these things so please help me out. Do you know where should i hook up the electrical cables? I know its in analog but where? I am using an arduino mega, and does anyone have a test code for it? I have tried using a voltmeter it works but i just cant seems to find a way to display it.the copper triangles act as contactors and is connected to an electrical cable, 2 for each finger in the middle tip of the finger you will see a carbon foam that acts as a bridge between them, letting electricity flow when pressed

  • please explain how the pictures relate to your question? .... they make it unclear what you are asking – jsotola Jan 20 '19 at 3:31
  • As you can see from the picture there are 2 copper triangles soldered to an electrical cable, that is comnected through a carbon foam, when the foam is compressed with will emit a small voltage (using a voltmeter). What i am confused is if i want to read the voltages through an arduino where should i plug in the elcetrical cables? Thx – Brilliant Purnawan Jan 20 '19 at 3:35
  • Origin of those pictures: inmoov.fr/hand-and-forarm – Jot Jan 20 '19 at 4:00
  • i understand now .... you are asking how to measure voltage with an arduino ..... do a an internet search on the subject ..... next time ask a simple question .... there is no need for a story and no need for pictures – jsotola Jan 20 '19 at 4:07
  • Ya but thats the hard part did a web search already but i cant seem to find anything, the closest thing i can find is by a potentiometer, but that have three legs, my one only have 2 electrical cables i know one pin goes to analog what about the other? – Brilliant Purnawan Jan 20 '19 at 4:19
