I'm using esp-01 for an home automation project. After a lot of trouble I was able to flash the AT firmware. Still, when I type AT commands in the serial monitor, I get the following errors

or

I've given MB102 power supply of 3.3V Using FTD1232 for usb-serial connection. The Vcc, Tx and Rx pins give 3.3V, I checked GPIO was grounded while flashing the firmware. Added a capacitor 200 micro farad to the power rails near the power supply of the esp-01

I've been struggling with this for days. Any help will be appreciated

  • how did you flash the AT firmware? tool? parameters? – Juraj Dec 20 '18 at 7:36

if you followed instructions for flashing an esp01 with 4mbit (512k) flash but have a newer esp01 with 8mbit (1mbyte) instead, then you will have issues – Jaromanda X Dec 20 '18 at 8:29
