# How to generate 8 40khz burst using Arduino uno [closed]

Sir ,I am working for single transducer ultrasonic distance measurement. So How i can generate 8 40 khz burst signal using Arduino uno.

• You mean 8 cycles of a 40 kHz signal, like 8 square pulses of 12.5 µs width spaced by 12.5 µs from one another? If not, could you please include a drawing of the signal you want to generate? How accurate should those timings be? – Edgar Bonet Nov 29 at 14:37
• I think you need a circuit to get enough energy into the piezo. A piezo is a capacitor and the 5v signal from the arduino will not work very well. – Jot Nov 29 at 17:00
