After some research, I figure out that it's possible to use Bluetooth and WiFi for some special operations (As Espressif engineer mentions).

In my case the Bluetooth operation is simple, it just needs to be visible for the other devices and appears in searches. And WiFi has to be connected always to a WebSocket server.

There are some C++ examples (here) with the same logic with MQTT, but I could not find any Arduino code. When I use SimpleBle sample, it totally disables WiFi. Any idea to use them both?

I believe someone has made a modification so you can initialize both: See : https://github.com/espressif/arduino-esp32/issues/1150 – raddevus Aug 24 '18 at 13:53
  • What do you mean by "totally disables WiFi"? The sketch doesn't initialize WiFi. – Juraj Aug 25 '18 at 7:20
  • @raddevus, the issue you linked is about about BLE with BluetoothSerial. nothing about WiFi – Juraj Aug 25 '18 at 15:22
  • SimpleBleDevice sketch does not have WiFI, when I add it, it does not work. There's also another example, WiFiBlueToothSwitch.ino but that one Bluetooth does not do anything – user1079877 Aug 26 '18 at 12:00
