I have a MKR1000 board mounted on top of the MKRMotorCarrier and connected to an IMU Shield that uses GND-3V-SDA-SCL pins, which leaves the MKR1000 available with RX, DAC0/A0, SCK, MOSI, GND, TX, MISO, and Digital Pins 7 and 0. I want to include a Mini USB Host Shield 2.0, but I've never used one before. What are the pins that the shield requires to connect to the board and what pin values (if any) would I have to change int the shield's library?

  • is it the USB host shield which uses SPI connection? you have the SPI pins SCK, MISO, MOSI available – Juraj Jul 24 '18 at 9:19
  • What about SS and INT on the Shield? Can those be placed on the two available pins on the arduino? – kirito23 Jul 24 '18 at 16:27
  • check the docs of the library you plan to use with the shield – Juraj Jul 24 '18 at 18:05
  • I can change the numbers in the library. Just wanted a confirmation, but thanks – kirito23 Jul 24 '18 at 18:21
