  • @IgnacioVazquez-Abrams There isn't one - the register can only output 1mA at best at 5V, iirc – Alexander M Nov 3 '14 at 23:51
  • Yes, but the B-E junction will pull it down to 0.7V regardless. – Ignacio Vazquez-Abrams Nov 3 '14 at 23:52
