Controlling speed of DC Motor from arduino could be done via PWM and H-Bridge, but how can i control an AC Motor? Thank you.

  • What kind of motor are you talking about? – Gerben Jul 14 '16 at 13:13
  • @Gerben, sorry i don't have any experience with Motors, but it's for treadmill machine. – Moussawi7 Jul 14 '16 at 13:29
  • How can you control an unspecified motor from an unspecified Arduino? Too broad to answer. Please read How do I ask a good question?. – Nick Gammon Jul 19 '16 at 6:49

I'll google it for you "AC motor speed control": google search

Short answer will be that it depends on motor. Frequency changer (or variable frequency drive if you need variable speed) is usual choice.

  • Links can be helpful in the short term, but they're not very good answers as they tend to die over time. – James McManus Jul 14 '16 at 10:04
  • @JamesMcManus Yes, you're right. Link from google search result will be better. Anyway there was no sign of research effort and reply would be really long. – KIIV Jul 14 '16 at 10:13
