I am currently using the following code

#include <IRremote.h>

int RECV_PIN = 11;
IRrecv irrecv(RECV_PIN);
decode_results results;

void setup()
 irrecv.enableIRIn(); // Start the receiver

void loop()
 if (irrecv.decode(&results))
   Serial.println(results.value, HEX);
   irrecv.resume(); // Receive the next value

The Serial Monitor is always returning "FFFFFFFF" no matter which button I press. So I am unable to replicate the signal.

Seems that the IR library doesn't support my LG remote.

How do I save and replicate the signal in this case?

  • Try irrecv.decodeLG(&results)

  • @Gerben Can you be more specific? Where do I put the line of code?

    @Wally: Did you solve it? I've got the same problem, IRrecvDumpV2 always reads FFFF FFFF from LG air conditioner remote, no matter which key. Also identifies it as Sanyo. May 1, 2018 at 13:29
