I want to send a parameter from my computer (i.e using Hercules software) using UDP protocol to my Arduino with Ethernet shield to turn 2 LED on and off (each of them).

The command I'm using is:

$A<lamp 1>,B<lamp 2>

for example

Does anyone know how to write the sketch so the Arduino can read the parameter <lamp 1> and <lamp 2>?

  • Yes, plenty of people know how to write a sketch to do that. What have you tried to write? We're not here to do your work for you, we're here to help you do your work. Look at examples, read tutorials. Adapt them to your needs. – Majenko Aug 20 '15 at 9:10

I don't understand the question, to be frank. What parameter? What is "hercules software"? A link would be handy. The command i'm using is : $A,B for example $A1,B0 - I'm not sure what that means. – Nick Gammon Aug 20 '15 at 9:29
