I am not able to receive data. I am able to send data from master but am not getting any response. This program uploaded successfully. I have below setup to monitor data from Modbus.

I have included code for Modbus protocol below.

Also, can someone suggest me the link to download modbus slave config library without any error along with wiring diagram

11:42:17.000: Device Address: 01h, Register: 000Dh
11:42:17.000: |-> Read Register: 000Dh
11:42:17.015: -> [01h] [0Dh] [00h] [0Dh] [00h] [01h] [08h] [7Ch]

device ID of 1 at 9600 baud.

modbus registers follow the following format
00001-09999 Digital Outputs, A master device can read and write to these registers
10001-19999 Digital Inputs, A master device can only read the values from these registers
30001-39999 Analog Inputs, A master device can only read the values from these registers
40001-49999 Analog Outputs, A master device can read and write to these registers

Analog values are 16 bit unsigned words stored with a range of 0-32767
Digital values are stored as bytes, a zero value is OFF and any nonzer value is ON

It is best to configure registers of like type into contiguous blocks. this
allows for more efficient register lookup and and reduces the number of messages
required by the master to retrieve the data

    Does that mean your other question is resolved? If so, you should mark an accepted answer. – sachleen Apr 3 '14 at 6:19
  • Nope that also not resolved. I am getting issue which being not solved yet. Since code is different and also problem associated with it is different so i posted here – AMPS Apr 3 '14 at 6:21
  • maybe you switched TX and RX? – Lesto Apr 3 '14 at 13:42
