I understand it now. Previously when I went through the documentation I saw ! in comparison operator. I think it was !=

As jsotola wrote its the logical NOT operator. It will negate the value of the operant, so making true to false and vice versa.

@Kokachi the ! is not a comparator ... it is a logical NOT
