Best Way What is the best way to connect multiple Arduinos?

inIn my situation i, I have a map devideddivided into multiple parts, each part could have about 20to100 arduinos20 to 100 Arduinos that they should send informationsinformation from time to time to the master. first problem how How could iI do this?

Second problem how. How could iI use the other arduinosArduinos to send the infosinfo from arduinoArduino that are so far from the Master Example in?

Example in part 1  : Arduino Arduino X is 500 meters far away from the master ! so how. How could use the other to send the information?

can iCan I do this with NodeMcu or such equipment with built-in wifi WiFi?
