I first learned programming on a Timex Sinclair 1000 and an Apple ][ in the early 80's, making graphing programs and ASCII animations of alien invasions. Good times. Then later when the C-64 and Amiga came out, I abandoned such high-brow pursuits to focus on a strict regimen of video games (playing them only). More good times. In the early 90's, I taught myself C from a tutorial downloaded from a gopher server and eventually graduated to enter the professional workforce. At least, I get paid to look professional which mainly amounts to wearing jeans and t-shirt, in case live customers stumble by the office.

Nowadays, I do C++ and C# for an enterprise-wide suite of applications for cardiovascular information system.

Nearby future fun projects: Raspberry Pi, Leap Motion, and GPU programming.
